Every city should have a trail system like Anchorage!

Anchorage's trail system makes such a lovely way to travel by bike, running, walking and I imagine skiing and dog sledding in the winter too. SM got her bike and helmet at Anchorage's Off the Chain bicycle co-op and enjoys riding the trails to local playgrounds and ponds. We managed a trip to the grocery store almost entirely on trails and bike paths. Then we made a pitstop at a playground on the trail on the way home. This city is made for kids. Every city should be like Anchorage!
